It is a long story how we got to Hawaii. I will save that for another post.
We have been on the Big Island for a little over a year. My wife brought in our first crop this fall. Here is our coffee label!

Hello Jon. What a surprise to hear from you after such a long time. My wife Toni and I are still kicking and doing fine. Retirement has agreed with both of us.
Hope this long story of your adventure gets published in the future I think it would be an interesting read and I have plenty of time to read it. Lol. Tell your wife hello for us even if she does not remember us no matter. I guess your kids are all grown up and making a living for themselves. Looking forward to trying your coffee when it is ready. Once again great to hear from you. I will be watching for further updates.
And yes I am still turning and making a few things with two grand kids, one each it opened a whole new reason to makes things. Grandparents are happy.
God Bless and take care.

Thanks for the reply Jon. I think you better get a small lathe and start turning out coffee scoops to with your coffee. Nice companion piece. I will give you brew a try. Take care.

Hello, I want to give your brew a try. I was just wondering if the coffee farm you purchased was the same Kona Sunset coffee sold at the Aloha swap meet in a green bag. That too is 100% Kona. I now live back on the mainland & am craving a great cup of Kona brew.
Thank you for your time

I am sorry I missed your comment. No, our coffee is not the same as the one sold in the Aloha swap meet. If you would like to try our coffee, please visit our website, http://www.konasunsetcoffee.com. It is harvest season and this is going to be a great year because of all the rain. The beans are huge!
